Forgotten Realms: Splendors & Shadow
The Even-Handed, God of Law and Justice
Stern but fair, Tyr is the Great Judge, Keeper of the Law, and the active principle of the Holy Triad. Where Ilmater soothes the suffering and Torm keeps the faith, Tyr actively pursues justice – his faithful bring relief to the wronged and judgment to the wicked. Often powerful in the Church, and particularly in the Office of the Inquisition, clerics of Tyr are often movers and shakers in ecclesiastic affairs and temporal politics alike. Many crusading holy warriors proudly serve the Just God, both wandering champions of good, and members of chivalrous orders such as the Knights of St. Vigius. The austere monks (clerics, not martial artists) of the Order of the Even Hand are among the Church’s most dedicated Inquisitors.
