Classical Wrestling

Grown out of ancient sport grappling styles, adopted and spread by mercenaries and adventurers who realized that being able to fight without a weapon was sometimes key to survival. Offensive moves seek to break or disable body parts after a grapple; against an armed opponent, the style emphasizes defense until the odds can be evened, whether by disarming a weapon or disabling an arm.
